“Last year during Hurricane Michael I had a tree fall on my house in Plantation Woods. I called several roofing companies but Apachee Roofing called me back the next day. They came and put a tarp over the gaping hole in my roof and gave me an excellent quote to replace my entire roof. They were prompt, very professional, and very easy to work with. I highly recommend them. ”

Roof leaks are not always easy to spot. Sometimes a leak could be present long before any damage is obvious.
These can result from flashings that have become loose, a segment of the roof becoming impaired or improperly installed shingles.
Here are a few things to look for:
Stains running down the side of the wall can be a telltale sign of a roof leak. While the fix may be easy, finding the leak is often the most challenging part.
Water spots on the ceiling could mean the roof is leaking, but not necessarily. These spots could be caused by condensation, plumbing, or windows. If the spots darken or grow when it rains, it is most likely a roof leak.
When your gutters are suddenly filled with granules, it could be a sign your shingles are deteriorating and need to be replaced.
If you notice your roof is suddenly missing shingles, you may have a pest problem. Nearby tree branches provide spry animals a chance to scurry across the roof and dislodge shingles, so trimming these branches back is a good idea.
Regular maintenance check-ups can prevent damage and costly repairs. Contact Apachee to schedule an appointment today at 850-893-3470!
WAYNE MCDANIEL SHARES THE JOURNEY OF THE SEVEN HILLS HEALTH AND REHABILITATION FLAT ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT.
Apachee Roofing estimated that it would take about three weeks to finish the job from start to finish. The crew started out by removing the two layers of roof that were currently on the building, a modified roof over the original gravel roof.
They then replaced it with a 1 inch ISO recovery board and TPO 60mil system to finish the roof off. The original tar and gravel roof was like a magnet for the sun and would absorb all of the heat, affecting energy costs. Their new roof, white and rubberized, is considered a cool roof in Florida. Not only is it more energy efficient, but it will also improve the durability and longevity of the roof.
Despite all of the rainfall in Tallahassee in December, Wayne and his team at Apachee Roofing were right on schedule with the TPO roofing installation estimate of 17-20 days.
Serving homeowners and commercial properties with quality service is something that the workers at Apachee Roofing live by. Residential services, especially repair, is majority of the company’s work. The company has been a family business for decades and prides itself on customer service and accountability.
It’s what’s on top that counts!

The Apachee team started on a Friday and worked diligently through the weekend to keep the project moving efficiently, finishing on Monday.
Two weeks later, Hurricane Hermine decided to pay a visit while Justin and Courtnie were out of town.
While gone, the Wheeles received a call letting them know the rest of the tree had fallen on the house.
Justin came back to work with the insurance adjuster for the second time and determine the plan of action. Because the roof is too steep to be tarped, Chad Swearigen, with SRT, has been helping dry out the home and coordinate the rebuild, based on recommendations from a structural engineer.
The Wheeles had planned to sell the home after the initial reroof, but now they’re going to rebuild and stay. Their second reroof will begin in a few months after they resolve the structural issues. Justin and Courtnie are looking forward to working with Wayne and the Apachee team again!
